What tools do I need to assemble my furniture?
Most Bluewud products require only basic tools that are likely already at home:
- Screwdriver (Phillips-head and flat-head)
- Rubber mallet for fitting panels without damaging surfaces
- Allen key / hex wrench — typically included in the box
No power tools or drilling into walls are needed for our freestanding furniture. If a product requires wall-mounting (e.g., a TV unit bracket), we mention this clearly on the product page.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly time varies by product size:
- Small items (bedside tables, stools, wall shelves): 15–30 minutes
- Medium items (wardrobes, TV units, study desks): 45–90 minutes
- Large items (king-size beds, large wardrobes with mirrors): 1–2 hours

What if parts are missing or damaged in my delivery?
Please check all parts against the included parts list before starting assembly. If anything is missing or damaged:
- Email us at care@bluewud.com with your order number and a photo of the affected part.
- We dispatch replacement parts within 2–3 business days at no charge.
- For major damage on arrival, we arrange a full replacement or pickup within 48 hours.
Do not discard packaging until assembly is complete and you're satisfied with the product.
Is professional installation available?
Yes — for large furniture sets and bulk orders, we offer professional assembly services in select metro cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai).
To request installation, mention it when placing your order or write to us at care@bluewud.com within 24 hours of ordering. For bulk / commercial orders, installation is included as part of our project package — see Bulk Orders.
The assembled piece is wobbly — what should I do?
A small amount of movement is normal on uneven floors. Try these first:
- Re-check that all screws and cam-locks are fully tightened (finger-tight then a quarter turn).
- Use the adjustable levelling feet (if included) to compensate for an uneven floor.
- Place anti-slip furniture pads under the legs.
If wobble persists after following these steps, contact our care team — we'll send a video guide or a replacement hardware kit.
Order Cancellation
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes — you can cancel within 24 hours of placing your order for a full refund with no questions asked. After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to review because production or dispatch may have already started.
To cancel, email care@bluewud.com with your order number and the subject line "Order Cancellation – [Order #]".
What if my order has already been dispatched?
Once an order is dispatched (you've received a tracking SMS or email), it can no longer be cancelled mid-transit. You have two options:
- Refuse delivery at the door — the courier will return it to us and we'll initiate a refund after inspection (7–10 business days).
- Accept and return — follow our Returns & Refunds process within 10 days of delivery.
Can I cancel a customised or made-to-order product?
Custom-dimension or custom-finish products can be cancelled within 4 hours of ordering, before production begins. After that, cancellations are not possible because materials are cut to specification.
If you realise you ordered the wrong size or colour, contact us immediately — we'll do our best to amend the order if it hasn't entered the production queue.
When will I receive my refund after cancellation?
Refund timelines depend on how the order was cancelled:
- Cancelled before dispatch: refund initiated within 2 business days; credited in 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
- Returned after delivery: refund initiated within 2 business days of us receiving the item back; credited in 7–10 business days.
- COD orders: refunded via NEFT/UPI — share your bank details with us after we confirm receipt.
You'll receive an email confirmation at each stage.
Are there any cancellation charges?
No cancellation fees apply for standard products cancelled within 24 hours. For cancellations after dispatch or for customised products, any reverse-logistics or restocking costs are described on our Refund Policy page.
