How do I place an order?

Browse our collection, click on the product you want, select your preferred finish or variant (if applicable), and click Add to Cart. When you are ready, go to your cart and click Checkout. Enter your delivery details and preferred payment method to complete your order. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed successfully.

Do you have a size guide?

Yes — all product dimensions are listed in the product description and in the specification tab on each product page. We strongly recommend measuring the intended space before purchasing, particularly for larger furniture items such as wardrobes, beds, and storage units. Our team is also happy to help if you are unsure — email care@bluewud.com.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. An order confirmation is automatically sent to your registered email address as soon as your order is placed and payment is received. This email will include your order ID, product details, estimated delivery date, and a summary of your purchase. If you do not see it within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

My payment failed but the money was deducted. What should I do?

Payment failures with deductions typically occur due to a temporary delay in bank processing. In such cases, the amount is automatically reversed to your original payment source within 3–5 business days. If you do not receive a reversal within this window, please email care@bluewud.com with your transaction reference and we will raise a dispute with the payment gateway on your behalf.

Can I add items to an order that has already been placed?

Unfortunately, we are unable to modify an order once it has been placed and confirmed. If you would like additional items, please place a separate order. If the first order has not yet been dispatched, contact us at care@bluewud.com and we will do our best to coordinate dispatch together.

What is Bluewud's shipping philosophy?

We believe that the cost of shipping should never be a barrier to quality furniture. That is why Bluewud offers free standard shipping on all orders across India, regardless of order size. No minimum order value, no hidden delivery fees.

When will my order be shipped?

Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Once dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to monitor your shipment in real time.

How long will delivery take?

Delivery timelines vary by destination:

  • Metro cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, etc.): 3–5 business days
  • Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities: 5–7 business days
  • Remote or rural areas: 7–12 business days

These are estimated timelines. Actual delivery may vary due to logistical conditions or public holidays.

Why are some products shipped by surface and others by air?

Larger furniture items — such as wardrobes, beds, and shelving units — are typically shipped via surface courier because their dimensions make air freight impractical and cost-prohibitive. Smaller accessories (hooks, hangers, mobile holders, etc.) may be dispatched via air for faster delivery. The shipping mode does not affect the delivery cost for you — all orders are free.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number is sent to your registered email. You can use this to track your shipment directly on the courier partner's website. You can also log into your Bluewud account and visit My Orders to check your delivery status at any time.

Are there any shipping charges?

No — shipping is completely free on all orders across India. There are no additional delivery charges at checkout, regardless of order value, size, or location.

Do you deliver internationally?

At present, Bluewud ships exclusively within India. We do not currently offer international delivery. If you are an international buyer with a shipping address in India, you are welcome to place an order for delivery to that address.

Cancellations & Related Queries

How do I cancel a COD order?

Cash on Delivery orders can be cancelled directly from your Bluewud account under My Orders, provided the order has not yet been dispatched. Simply select the order and choose Cancel Order. No refund is required as no payment has been collected.

How do I cancel a prepaid order?

For prepaid orders, please email care@bluewud.com with your Order ID as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and initiate a full refund to your original payment method within 3–4 business days. Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.

Can I cancel after the order has been dispatched?

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled in the traditional sense. However, you may refuse delivery at the door — please inform our team at care@bluewud.com that you are refusing the shipment and we will process it as a return. If you have already accepted the delivery, you may raise a return request within 10 days.

What if my order is cancelled by Bluewud?

In rare cases, we may need to cancel an order — for example, due to a stock shortage or an error in the product listing. If this happens, we will notify you immediately by email and process a full refund within 3–4 business days. You will not be charged any cancellation fee.

I changed my mind after delivery. Can I return the product?

Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for eligible reasons (damaged packaging, defective product, wrong item received, or significant dimensional discrepancy). Change of mind is not covered under our standard return policy. Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.

Installation & Assembly

Do Bluewud products come with assembly instructions?

Yes — all Bluewud furniture that requires assembly is delivered with a printed step-by-step installation guide. All required hardware (screws, Allen keys, dowels, etc.) is also included in the packaging. We recommend reading the full guide before beginning assembly.

Are the products easy to assemble at home?

Our furniture is designed for straightforward DIY assembly and typically requires no special tools beyond what is included in the box. Most units can be assembled by one or two adults within 30–90 minutes. Larger items such as wardrobes or multi-shelf units may benefit from a second person during assembly.

What if I am missing hardware or parts?

If any hardware or component is missing from your package, please email care@bluewud.com with your Order ID and a photograph of the packaging and the components you received. We will dispatch replacement parts to you at no additional cost within 2–3 business days.

Do you offer professional installation services?

At present, Bluewud does not provide in-home installation services. However, because our products are designed for simple self-assembly, most customers assemble them successfully at home using the included guide. If you encounter any difficulty, our support team is happy to assist via email or phone.

A part broke during assembly. What should I do?

If a component breaks due to a manufacturing defect during assembly, this is covered under our return and warranty policy. Please email care@bluewud.com with your Order ID and photographs of the broken part. We will assess the situation and provide a replacement part or arrange a return accordingly. Damage caused by incorrect assembly or misuse is not covered.
