The bookshelf looks very good to my eyes. I like the colour and the design. I was apprehensive at first about assembling it myself but once I got the hang of it it was very easy. The final hammering of the nails was something I had to anyway call a carpenter for because I was unable to hammer those nails straight into the board. The design is quite sturdy and with the amount of load (medical books) that I have put on it I can confidently say that it will not break.
With that said, the stability of this bookshelf is not good. If I shake the bookshelf with just a little amount of force it does not stand still like say how an almirah stands still even if you push it from one side. It’s probably a weight thing. This is after the fact that it has about 40-50kg load on it. I’m not a carpenter and therefore do not understand much about the stability of woodwork but this is the only problem that I have.
Other than that it’s all good.
